AutumnDrift is a katana from the Huo Series, crafted with a refined balance between traditional aesthetics and practical performance. Forged in Maru-zukuri construction from T10 high-carbon steel, the blade emphasizes clean geometry, structural consistency, and dependable handling, making it suitable for both martial arts practice and thoughtful display.
The blade is clay tempered, revealing a flowing notare hamon that reflects controlled heat treatment and careful edge formation. Its polished surface remains free of visible hada, presenting a calm, understated appearance that highlights the natural movement of the hamon rather than surface pattern. The cutting edge offers responsive feedback and balanced control during swings.
The koshirae is mounted with a blackened iron tsuba featuring openwork dragonfly and sun motifs, symbolizing quiet motion and seasonal transition. A brass habaki secures the blade with traditional reliability while adding a warm metallic contrast to the overall composition.
The tsuka is wrapped in brown ito over genuine white samegawa, reinforced for a firm, stable grip.
