DragonCurrent is a katana from the Huo Series, shaped around controlled power, continuous motion, and internal force held in balance. Forged from T10 high-carbon steel in Maru-zukuri construction, the blade emphasizes structural consistency, clean geometry, and dependable handling, making it suitable for both martial arts practice and composed display.
The blade is clay tempered, producing a smooth and flowing notare hamon that reflects disciplined heat control and deliberate edge formation. The polished surface remains clear and restrained, allowing the natural movement of the hamon to emerge without visual excess. In motion, the blade tracks steadily and responds with confidence, favoring fluid control over abrupt aggression.
The koshirae is fitted with a blackened Musashi-style iron tsuba, expressing functional simplicity and historical restraint. White copper fuchi and kashira, cast in relief with a wave-and-dragon motif, symbolize the hidden force of movement beneath a calm surface. A brass habaki secures the blade firmly while adding a warm, understated contrast to the mount.
The tsuka is wrapped in yellow ito over genuine white samegawa, providing a secure grip and a restrained visual accent. The saya is finished in black Ishime lacquer, its subtle stone-textured surface reinforcing a grounded, composed character.
