The KSA Obsidianwave Katana is crafted from Performance-grade Spring Steel and fully quenched, providing excellent toughness and flexibility, making it suitable for practical cutting exercises. The blade is mirror-polished and free of hamon, presenting a sleek, modern aesthetic. The blade comes with a functional Shinken-hi groove by default, enhancing both its balance and handling performance.
The tsuba is made of iron with an openwork mokko-shaped guard featuring an axe motif, complemented by blackened white copper Fuchi and Kashira with wave relief, adding decorative elegance. The habaki is polished brass. The handle (tsuka) is wrapped in white genuine ray skin (samegawa) with black cord, paired with a black lacquered saya for a sophisticated, striking contrast.
