This Silver Lion katana is crafted in Sanmai (three-layered) construction, featuring a hardened core edge between softer outer layers for sharpness and durability. The blade displays a subtle straight-grain pattern and a wavy temper line formed through clay tempering, with a classic ridge-style shape and an elegant long tip.

The fittings—including the tsuba, fuchi, and kashira—feature a Silver Lion design with a refined metallic finish, giving the sword a bold and distinctive character. The menuki beneath the handle wrap complement the overall aesthetic. The handle is wrapped in brown ito over aged white ray skin, reinforced with diamond-patterned paper for grip and style.

The saya is made of hardwood with a gold-fleck lacquer finish, reinforced at the mouth with buffalo horn. A dark brown cotton sageo is tied to the kurigata for secure carrying, completing the elegant and functional design.
